RFG Advisory said late last week that it has added Arizona-based Cambium Wealth Partners to its platform.
With this addition of a $340 million firm, RFG has surpassed $7 billion in AuM.
Founded by Tom Taylor, the 14-member firm includes five financial advisors and nine support professionals led by Mary Huntley, and Josh Szyman.
Among recent moves, RFG appointed Ed Swenton as president and has onboarded new advisory teams.
BMO
BMO, a Toronto/New York-listed banking group, has completed its acquisition of Burgundy Asset Management, a Canadian firm. The M&A agreement was initially announced in June this year.
Burgundy's CEO, Robert Sankey, is continuing to lead the business which will operate as a separate line of business under BMO Wealth Management. Burgundy co-founders Tony Arrell and Richard Rooney are remaining with the business, BMO said in a statement.
Burgundy, which was founded in 1990, employs 150 people, operating from Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
